Tinhorn Creek’s Summer Concerts presents Said the Whale

Combining premium wines and pleasing melodies is something that the Tinhorn Creek winery loves to do for its guests all summer long. With an impressive outdoor venue, the vineyard is a perfect place to spend a summer evening with a bottle of wine, while letting the melodies of Canada's favourite musicians fill the air. On August 25, travellers can venture to the Okanagan Valley to spend an evening with Vancouver-born indie rockers Said the Whale. To make the most of the summer event, guests can reserve rooms at the Walnut Beach Resort, situated on the shores of the beautiful Okanagan Lake.

The five-member rock group released their debut album in 2007, but it was not until last year that the group received immense praise from fans and critics alike, earning the Juno Award for New Group of the Year in 2011, and a starring role in a nationally televised documentary.

The group has toured the world in a short period of time, and will return to their homeland this summer, performing releases off their 2012 album, "Little Mountain," for local fans and new listeners.

Guests of the upscale Osoyoos hotel can cozy up on blankets after picking their favourite variety of wine from the Tinhorn store, and prepare for a melodic evening under the Valley sun.
