Crimson red wines warm up guests at the Winter in Wine Country

Only one place in British Columbia boasts weather conditions that are perfect for winemaking nearly year-round. Osoyoos and Oliver are two premier cities within British Columbia's wine capital, the South Okanagan, and this winter, travellers are invited to enjoy the second annual Winter in Wine Country in true style.

After booking a weekend holiday at the luxurious Walnut Beach Resort, trip planners can look forward to this intimate getaway with friends or loved ones who might even help them discover their favourite variety of red or white wine.

Between November 30 and December 2, the two towns will participate in a variety of fun-filled events – some geared toward adults, and others perfect for the little ones to enjoy. From firework displays and craft shows to carolling and of course, wine tasting, the events will have travellers itineraries overflowing.

While participating vineyards have yet to be announced, guests can be sure that it will include some of the highest-acclaimed wineries in all of British Columbia, as most are situated right in the South Okanagan, only a short journey away from visitors' cozy Osoyoos hotel rooms.
