There's no crying at country star Eric Church's arena shows. The Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour is gearing up to take over the stage at the South Okanagan Events Centre, which is one of several Canadian stops on his first-ever Great White North tour, stopping in cities from Abbotsford to Saskatoon. If you're ready to whip out your spurs and cowboy hat, then you can reserve rooms at the luxurious Walnut Beach Resort and gear up for a memorable weekend in Okanagan Valley.
Church has quickly risen as one of the most sought after country stars of today, and received more nominations at the 2012 CMA Awards than any other artist. His album "CHIEF" boasts two Canadian number one singles, "Springsteen" and "Drink in My Hand," both of which are hits that bring crowds to their feet, raising their foamy beers high in the air.
At 34 years old, the country artist is happily married with a child but still wows a crowd as if he were just breaking into the music scene at the beginning of his career. Starting at 7:30 p.m., the show will kick off with Colt Ford, an emerging musician in the country country charts.
It's not too late to plan a raucous weekend event at the upscale Osoyoos hotel, only minutes away from the February 1 show at the South Okanagan Events Centre.
