Visitors are often attracted to Osoyoos for its shimmering shores, blissful sunsets and exhilarating outdoor adventures, but there's more to this Okanagan Valley town than nature alone. Try to plan your next vacation for Saturday and Sunday, August 10 and 11, when the Verano art exhibit and sale sets up shop in Osoyoos.
Presented by Glattstein Studio, Verano has been running every August for six years. This two-day exhibition will be held in the garden space of the downtown Osoyoos Farmers Market, and it will feature work by some of the most renowned artists in the area from the Okanagan Artisans Group. You'll come across creations by painters, sculptors, jewelers, silversmiths and fabric artists – each of which was carefully chosen for exhibition by Glattstein Studio. Feel free to browse the unique artwork or purchase some for yourself.
Trying to save your pennies? Don't worry – while purchasing artwork will cost you, admission is free. And with the affordable accommodations at Osoyoos hotels, like the Walnut Beach Resort, you can take in the sights and have the ultimate Okanagan experience without breaking the bank.
